Common use of PLANNED UTILITY OUTAGE PROCEDURE Clause in Contracts

PLANNED UTILITY OUTAGE PROCEDURE. A. The Contractor shall not activate or de-activate any campus system, or component of any such system, without express written direction from the Owner. B. Contractor shall schedule and obtain facilities approval for any necessary outage of campus utilities planning for a minimum of fifteen (15) work days in advance through the Owner’s Project Manager, using the Owner provided “Contractor’s Request for Utility Shutdown” form and process. All outages shall be performed outside the normal working hours or as determined by the Owner.
