POLISHING & FINISHING. Slight unevenness at the meeting edges of slabs shall first be removed (if necessary by removing and replacing the stones). The surface, then, shall be ground evenly with machine fitted with coarse grade grit blocks No. 60. The second grinding shall be done by a machine fitted with fine grade grit blocks No. 120. The final grinding with a machine fitted with finest grade grit block No. nd 320 shall be carried out on the day after the 2 grinding is done. Oxalic acid shall then be dusted over the surface at 33 gm. Per sq. meter sprinkled with water and rubbed hard with pad of woollen rags. The floor shall be wiped with moist rag and dried with a soft cloth and finished clean on the following day.

  • Finishing Work It has been clearly understood by the Alottee, that the Occupancy Certificate/Completion Certificate, as the case may be, are issued by the concerned authorities, when the entire civil construction work of the apartment is complete and the apartment is in a habitable state, however, to prevent any loss or damage, the internal fittings, furnishings and finishing work is done after obtaining completion certificate/occupancy certificate as the case may be. Further the internal fittings, furnishings and finishing work may also depend upon the choice of the Allottee. Therefore to ensure that there is no loss or damage to the internal fittings, furnishings and finishing work and the same may be carried on as per the choice of the Allottee, internal works such as fitting of switch boards, doors, sanitary fittings, plumber fittings like water taps/showers etc., final colour coat on the internal walls, floor tiles or any other internal work of like nature, shall be completed after obtaining occupancy certificate/completion certificate and before handing over the possession of the apartment to the Allottee.

  • FINISHES Buyer(s) understands that the location of telephone, electric, cable TV and other utility outlets, doors, windows, air conditioning components, lighting fixtures, equipment and fixtures are subject to change and Buyer(s) understands that materials such as brick, wood, wood grain, carpeting, paint, cabinets, cultured marble, tile, Formica, granite and the like are subject to shading and gradation and may vary from samples, models or color charts, and from piece to piece, and Contractor shall not be liable for such variations.
