POSITION AND TITLE: Communications Specialist. DUTIES: ∗ to prepare articles for the national journal under the direction of the 1st National Vice-President and the National Executive Committee ∗ to prepare bulletins and other communications directed to the membership of the Canadian Union of Postal Workers under the supervision of the National President and National Executive Committee ∗ to carry out necessary research in the preparation of material for press releases under the direction of the National President and the National Executive Committee ∗ to maintain a working relationship with the media and maintain up-to-date files for this purpose ∗ to work with the Research Specialist in the preparation of material required for negotiations and other material as required by the National President and National Executive Committee ∗ to produce the national journal and other publications of the CUPW as required ∗ to conceptualize, design and produce or arrange for the production of graphics and art work for the Union's publications and campaigns, including buttons, posters, leaflets, stickers and other materials as required * to conceptualize, design, maintain, develop and update the national Web site, other Web sites related to the national office, and other forms of electronic communication and multimedia projects ∗ to maintain a photo file of union activities and the participation of union officers and members in related activities ∗ to research and write speeches for National Officers as required, as well as articles for publication outside the Employer's own publications ∗ to perform other related duties as required.

  • INTERNET PLANNING, ENGINEERING AND OPERATIONS ‌ Job Title: Internet/Web Engineer Job#: 2620 General Characteristics Integrally involved in the development and support of all Internet/Intranet/Extranet sites and supporting systems. Works closely with other IT groups and customers to define the system design and user interface based on customer needs and objectives. Participates in all phases of the development and implementation process, and may act as a project manager on special projects. Ensures the integration of the Web servers and all other supporting systems. Responsible for system tuning, optimization of information/data processing, maintenance and support of the production environment.

  • OFFICER AND CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER CERTIFICATION Pursuant to Section 6(b) and 6(c) of the Agreement, the undersigned Chief Executive Officer and Chief Fiscal Officer of the Recipient, as both are designated in Appendix B of the Agreement, hereby request the Director to disburse financial assistance moneys made available to Project in Appendix C of the Agreement (inclusive of any amendment thereto) to the payee as identified below in the amount so indicated which amount equals the product of the Disbursement Ratio and the dollar value of the attached cost documentation which was properly billed to the Recipient in exclusive connection with the performance of the Project, or, in the case of a final disbursement request, the amount entered at Line V of this Appendix E. The undersigned further certify that:

  • CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER AND CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER CERTIFICATION The undersigned Chief Executive Officer and Chief Fiscal Officer of the Recipient, as both are designated in Appendix B of the Agreement, hereby request the Director to disburse financial assistance moneys made available to Project in Appendix C of the Agreement (inclusive of any amendment thereto) to the payee as identified below in the amount so indicated which amount equals the product of the Disbursement Ratio and the dollar value of the attached cost documentation which was properly billed to the Recipient in exclusive connection with the performance of the Project. The undersigned further certify that:

  • Drug-Free Workplace Certification As required by Executive Order No. 90-5 dated April 12, 1990, issued by the Governor of Indiana, the Contractor hereby covenants and agrees to make a good faith effort to provide and maintain a drug-free workplace. The Contractor will give written notice to the State within ten (10) days after receiving actual notice that the Contractor, or an employee of the Contractor in the State of Indiana, has been convicted of a criminal drug violation occurring in the workplace. False certification or violation of this certification may result in sanctions including, but not limited to, suspension of contract payments, termination of this Contract and/or debarment of contracting opportunities with the State for up to three (3) years.
