Posting of Notice. Notice of all classified job vacancies shall be posted in prominent locations at each District job site. Any bargaining unit employee who will be on leave or layoff during the posting period and who desires to receive a copy of the notice will inform the District Office prior to their leaving. Such employees will be sent notice on the date the position is posted. The job vacancy shall remain posted for a period of five (5) working days during which time employees may file for the vacancy.
