Common use of Postings Clause in Contracts

Postings. (a) When a regular vacancy occurs which the Employer intends to fill, or a new position is created within the Bargaining Unit the Employer shall notify the Union in writing and post notice of the position on each appropriate notice board throughout the Institute for a minimum of one (1) week, so that all members will know about the vacancy or new position. All regular positions must be posted except those made pursuant to Article 11.6.

All regular positions must be posted except those made pursuant to Article 11.6.
