Postings. If A. The Parties recognize that positions may be filled from any appropriate source in accordance with established laws, rules and regulations. Vacancy announcements will be posted on designated facility bulletin boards within the areas of consideration. The Employer will take appropriate steps necessary to assure announcements are not altered, defaced or covered. All vacancy announcements will be posted for 15 calendar days. Parties at the local level may agree to alternative methods of providing employees access to vacancy announcement information. A copy of each vacancy announcement will be sent to the local Union.
