Preservation of Markers. Any legal land subdivision survey corners, reference points or monuments are to be preserved. If such are destroyed or disturbed, they shall be re-established by a licensed land surveyor in accordance with U.S. General Land Office standards at Lessee’s expense. Corners and/or reference points or monuments that must necessarily be disturbed or destroyed in the process of carrying out the operations allowed by this Lease must be adequately referenced and/or replaced in accordance with Chapter 58.09

Preservation of Markers. Any legal land subdivision survey corners and witness objects are to be preserved. If such are destroyed or disturbed, the Purchaser shall reestablish them by a licensed land surveyor in accordance with U.S. General Land Office standards at Purchaser's own expense. Corners or witness objects that must necessarily be disturbed or destroyed in process of road construction must be adequately referenced and such references approved by the County prior to removal of any corners or witness objects.
Preservation of Markers. Lessee shall not destroy any land survey corner monuments and reference points (including but not limited to corner markers, witness objects, or line markers) without prior written approval from the State, which shall not be unreasonably withheld. Monuments or reference points that must necessarily be disturbed or destroyed during construction or operations must be adequately referenced and replaced, at the Lessee's cost, under the direction of a State of Washington Professional Land Surveyor, in accordance with all applicable laws of the State of Washington, including but not limited to RCW 58.24, and all relevant Department of natural Resources regulations.

If such are destroyed or disturbed, the Contractor shall, at the Contractor’s own expense, re-establish them through a licensed land surveyor in accordance with U.S. General Land Office standards. Corners and/or witness objects that must be disturbed or destroyed in the process of road construction or logging shall be adequately referenced and/or replaced in accordance with RCW 58.24.040(8). Such references must be approved by the Contract Administrator prior to removal of said corners and/or witness objects.
