Common use of Preservation of Regulatory Authority Clause in Contracts

Preservation of Regulatory Authority. Nothing in this Agreement shall be construed to limit the authority of a Party to determine, through its legislative, regulatory and administrative measures, the level of protection it considers appropriate for enhancing safety at sea and improving the prevention of marine pollution, or otherwise act with regard to risks within the scope of this Agreement.
