President of Mat-Su Education Association. A. The Board and the Association agree that a Matanuska-Susitna Borough School District teacher serving as the President of the Matanuska-Susitna Education Association shall be granted a leave of absence with pay upon request during his/her term of office, provided that the cost of such pay shall be fully reimbursed by the Matanuska-Susitna Education Association. The request shall be made no later than June 1 of the year preceding the requested year of absence TRS eligibility must be approved by the TRS.
