Prevention of Disputes. Meet and confer - The parties agree that they share an interest in preventing misunderstandings that could become claims against one another under this agreement. The parties agree to attempt to identify and discuss in advance any areas of potential misunderstanding that could lead to a dispute. If either party identifies an issue of disagreement, the parties agree to engage in a face-to-face discussion of the matter within three (3) calendar days of the initial request. If the dispute cannot be negotiated between the parties, the matter shall first be brought to the attention of the District’s Board of Directors at the first available regularly scheduled Board Meeting. As a contract dispute, the matter shall be considered by the District Board of Directors in closed session under the Xxxxx Act without the Developer or Contractor in attendance. If any disagreement remains unresolved for ten (10) days after consideration by the District Board of Directors, the parties agree to submit it to mediation as provided in Section 19.3 below.

Prevention of Disputes. States shall cooperate in order to prevent disputes. To this end, States shall agree on efficient and expeditious decision-making procedures within subregional and regional fisheries management organizations and arrangements and shall strengthen existing decision-making procedures as necessary.
Prevention of Disputes. The Loan Documents together with this Agreement constitute the ONLY agreement and understanding among Lender and the Obligor and supersede any and all prior agreements and understandings, oral or written, relating to the Financing Transaction.
