Prime Design Professional. Consultant and Sub-Consultants shall adhere to the following electronic format requirements and use the naming conventions as set out below:
a. Drawings/plans
(1) Drawings/plans should be rendered as 200-300 dpi PDF Format images. No files may be larger than 5 megabytes in size. Plans/Drawings numbering should follow Form 00015 List of Drawings.
(2) File names may not include any symbols such as < > : . “ / \ | ? ‘ & # % ^ * ( ) [ ]
(3) FILE NAMES: Plans/Drawings numbering should follow Form 00015 List of Drawings. All plans should be named in the following manner: three digit sequential number-brief descriptor. For example: 001-Cover.pdf or 002-arc1.pdf
b. CSI specification sections (project manuals)
(1) CSI specification sections should be named by division, using DIV as a prefix. For example:
(a) DIV01.PDF (Technical, Project Specific) (b) DIV02.PDF
Prime Design Professional is the leader of the design team charged with the design of a facility, either an architect or an engineer. The Prime Design Professional is responsible for determining and interpreting the needs of the Client and for coordinating the services of the other design professionals.
