Principal Investigator Responsibilities. The Principal Investigator shall be responsible for coordinating the scientific and technical conduct of this project on behalf of VA. Prior to beginning research under this CRADA, the Principal Investigator shall obtain VA Research and Development (R&D) Committee approval of the Protocol. Such approval entails Institutional Review Board (IRB) approval of the Protocol and all associated documents including informational documents, the informed consent form and advertisements used in the performance of this CRADA.
Principal Investigator Responsibilities. The Principal Investigator is responsible for the daily conduct of the TRIAL and that tasks delegated to the Local Hospital are taken care of, including ensuring the TRIAL is conducted according to the sponsor agreement. The Principal Investigator is responsible for training the responsible person at the Local Hospital. Training shall be documented.
