Prior Approval Recommended. It is strongly suggested to obtain a written pre-approval from the Personnel Director prior to taking specific additional course work or training for lane advancement purposes in accordance with Section 7.1. A teacher who takes additional training or course work without obtaining pre-approval takes said course work at his or her own risk without guarantee of salary advancement.
