Common use of Prior Service Clause in Contracts

Prior Service. The Executive acknowledges and agrees that his or her service with any employer prior to the Effective Date will not be included in the assessment of the Term or the Executive’s length of employment with the Corporation for any purposes, including without limitation any entitlements under this Article 5, except as required by applicable employment standards legislation (in which case such service will be recognized only for the minimum statutory requirements set out therein).
