Procedure and Compensation. The Panel shall be chaired in the first year by a certificated classroom teacher and in the following year by a member selected by the District. The Chair shall thereafter rotate on an annual basis between teacher and District members. The actual chairperson will be elected annually by the Panel members. Panel members shall conduct their business outside of regular class hours unless circumstances require otherwise. Teacher members of the Panel shall each receive an annual stipend of $1,600 prorated when service is less than a full school year, for services provided beyond the typical workday.
