Procedures for Reduction in Personnel or Hours Due to Staffing Changes. When it is determined that a specific reduction in personnel or hours is necessary, the responsible administrator shall seek volunteers. If there are no volunteers, the following procedure shall be applied: 1. The specific needs of the program or school center shall be established and considered. 2. The individual skills, education and abilities of potential candidates for reduction shall be reviewed by the appropriate administrator. 3. If all of the above factors are substantially equal, length of service within the bargaining unit shall be the determining factor. 4. The decision of the appropriate administrator shall be final.
