Priority in Reassignment. An opportunity to discuss open positions in the school district shall be made available to all employees being involuntarily transferred or reassigned. Such employees may request the positions, in order of preference, to which they desire to be transferred. An employee being involuntarily transferred or reassigned shall be compensated at the appropriate pay for the new position in compliance with the adopted salary plan.

The Superintendent's decision shall be final and shall not be subject to binding arbitration under the parties' grievance procedure.
