Common use of Processing Clause in Contracts

Processing. Upon satisfactory completion by Developer of all required preliminary actions and payments of appropriate processing fees, if any, the City shall, subject to all legal requirements, promptly initiate, diligently process, and complete at the earliest possible time all required steps, and expeditiously act upon any approvals and permits necessary for the development by Developer of the Project in accordance with this Agreement, including, but not limited to, the following: (a) the processing of applications for and issuing of all Discretionary Approvals requiring the exercise of judgment and deliberation by City; (b) the holding of any required public hearings; and (c) the processing of applications for and issuing of all City Technical Permits requiring the determination of conformance with the Existing Regulations.
