Non-Disciplinary and Written Reprimand Grievances (excluding disability separations). If the grievance is not resolved at Step 2, the Union may request a PARM by filing the written grievance including a copy of all previous responses with the Director of the LRS and the college’s/district’s Human Resources Office within thirty (30) days of receipt of the Step 2 decision. Within fifteen (15) days of the receipt of all the required information, the LRS will either: a. Notify the Union in writing that a PARM will be scheduled with the LRS designee, the college’s/district’s Human Resources Office representative, and the Union’s staff representative to review and attempt to settle the dispute. b. Notify the Union in writing that no PARM will be scheduled. Within thirty (30) days of the request, a PARM will be scheduled. The meeting will be conducted at a mutually agreeable time. The proceedings of any mediation or PARM will not be reported or recorded in any manner, except for written agreements reached by the parties during the course of the mediation or PARM. Unless they are independently admissible, statements made by or to the mediator, or by or to any party or other participant in the mediation or PARM, may not be: a. Later introduced as evidence; b. Made known to an arbitrator or hearings examiner at a hearing; and/or c. Construed for any purpose as an admission against interest.

  • Employee Termination A) Regular employees other than those serving a probationary period, shall give twenty-eight (28) calendar days written notice of termination to a representative designated by the Employer with the authority to accept such written notice.
