Professional Activities. 26.01 The Employer will not publish letters to the editor or other material critical of employees without first making a reasonable attempt to contact the employee concerned. 26.02 The Employer will not enter the work of any employee in any contest without the permission of the employee concerned. Employees will not enter work published in The Free Press in any contest without the permission of the Employer. 26.03 Employees shall be free to engage in any activities outside of working hours provided such activities do not interfere with the performance of their work for the Employer. Employees will not perform service for publications or any other media in competition with the Employer without the Employer’s permission. No employee will exploit his or her connection with the Employer without the Employer’s permission.
