Change of Classification. When the classification of a position is changed, the incumbent who occupies the position whose classification has been changed shall be assigned to that position unless some other employee has vested rights to such position by reason of layoff. The changing of classification of a position remains as an exclusive management prerogative and all classification changes shall be initiated solely by management.
Change of Classification. In addition to the initial probationary period, an employee transferred or promoted to a different classification shall serve a new probationary period of seventy-five (75) consecutive calendar days in any such new classification. During the probationary period, if it is determined by the School District that the employee's performance in the new classification is unsatisfactory, the School District shall reassign the employee to the former classification.
Change of Classification. When an employee assumes a job in a higher salary range, their salary will be placed at the closest step in the new range that provides a salary increase to the employee. When an employee assumes a job in a lower salary range, their salary will be placed at the closest step in the new range that results in a salary decrease to the employee.
Change of Classification. An employee promoted to a position involving a higher pay rate shall serve an initial ninety (90) calendar day working probation in that classification. During this probationary period the School District may revert the employee to the previous position. The employee may revert to the position previously held if the position is not filled or within ninety (90) calendar days whichever is the lesser.
Change of Classification. An employee transferring from one classification to another classification shall be placed at the step closest to their current rate of pay. If the closest step is below their current rate, they will move to the next higher step.
Change of Classification. 15.1 The pay rate for a temporary change in classification due to cover an absent employee’s duties or a change in duties will not be a change in pay rate until at least fifteen working days are completed. Such change must be approved by the immediate supervisor, the Director of Building Operations, and the Assistant Superintendent.
Change of Classification. A. Degrees earned after initial employment as a result of college level study may be used for transferring from one class to another across the salary schedule. Such credit must be from a college or university that has not only legal and regional accreditation standing but also transfer privileges of graduate or undergraduate work to other colleges and universities of accredited standing.
Change of Classification. No later than after 10 years’ service in the insurance sector, any employee in groups 1 to 5 shall be classified in the role group immediately above the role group in which they started their insurance sector career. This higher classification guarantee is only applicable once per employee for his/her own career. This guaranteed change of group within companies by no means precludes joining a higher group within companies in connection with autonomy, complexity, supervision or interaction with third parties as described in Paragraph II of this section. Any change of group shall be notified in writing to the employee concerned and the new group indicated. On changing groups within companies on the grounds of autonomy, complexity, supervision or interaction with third parties as described in Article 13 II of this Collective Agreement, the monthly base salary shall be increased by at least EUR 10.00 (base index 100) for a full-time job. This sum is to be offset against the minimum change guarantee defined in Article 14 (2) of this Collective Agreement. This provision does not apply to the provisions of the first paragraph of this point. Employees leaving their jobs may request a certificate from the insurance company confirming they have not changed groups (excluding migration to the new role groups which is not considered to be a change of group). The certificate indicates the period of work done with the former employer with a view to enabling the employee to benefit from the change of role group after 10 years’ seniority.
Change of Classification. Requests for extra curricular salary classification changes will be considered through application to the appropriate building principal by March 1 of the year scheduled for negotiations. Any changes agreed upon will be included in the Master Agreement, and no additional requests will be considered until the next negotations cycle.
Change of Classification. Selection will be made based on the seniority of the employees whose applications have been received at least fifteen (15) days prior to the receipt of notification of the vacancies at the Union Headquarters level.
