Professional Improvement Leave. The parties agree that Trustee Policy on Professional Improvement Leave shall remain in full force and effect for bargaining unit members for the life of the Agreement: Professional non-academic staff are eligible for leave for professional improvement in cases where it can be clearly demonstrated that such leave will result in specific benefit to the University. Such leave shall be available as a matter of privilege rather than as a right and shall be granted to an eligible staff member only in those cases where the following conditions have been met:
