Professional Learning Funding in GSN - Elementary panel only. The Parties note the Government’s intention, conditional upon the approval by the Lieutenant- Governor-in-Council, to amend the allocation in the GSN for enhancing professional learning opportunities for teachers. The per pupil funding benchmark for professional learning under the Pupil Foundation Grant will be suspended for the 2012-2013 and 2013-2014 school years. If this funding is not reinstated, the savings will be credited towards any fiscal targets beyond the term of this MOU. The provisions of collective agreements related to the allocation of the suspended funding for professional learning opportunities for teachers will not be operational.
