PROFILE OF EAST CENTRAL HIGH SCHOOL. East Central High School is the only high school of the school corporation. Students in grades 9-12 attend the school, and the student population is approximately 1,300 students. An equal balance of male and female students is enrolled. The school population is predominantly white Caucasian with only 1% diversity. A total of 20% of the high school population falls within the free/reduced status. The faculty consists of 65 teachers, 3 administrators, 3 counselors, and 14 teaching assistants. The school has a 20:1 student-to-teacher ratio, and operates on a schedule of 7 periods a day. The year is divided into two semesters with two nine-week grading periods per semester. In the spring of 2011, East Central High School was recognized by Washington Post as “one of the nation’s top 1,900 schools” and has been recognized as an exemplary school by the Department of Education. From 2012- 2021 East Central High School earned an “A” letter grade by the Indiana Department of Education. In 2014, 2015, 2017, 2018, & 2019 East Central was recognized as a 4-Star school by the state of Indiana. East Central is academically in the top 10% of high schools in the state of Indiana.

  • Destination CSU-Pueblo scholarship This articulation transfer agreement replaces all previous agreements between CCA and CSU-Pueblo in Bachelor of Science in Physics (Secondary Education Emphasis). This agreement will be reviewed annually and revised (if necessary) as mutually agreed.

  • Cultural Resources If a cultural resource is discovered, the Purchaser shall immediately suspend all operations in the vicinity of the cultural resource and notify the Forest Officer. Operations may only resume if authorized by the Forest Officer. Cultural resources identified and protected elsewhere in this contract are exempted from this clause. Cultural resources, once discovered or identified, are not to be disturbed by the Purchaser, or his, her or its employees and/or sub- contractors.

  • Academy 1.10 Where any legislation, legal requirement or published guidance is referred to, unless otherwise stated, the following terms should be interpreted as follows:

  • MIDDLE SCHOOLS 1. Where there are no negotiated provisions concerning the implementation or operation of a middle school program, this article shall govern the implementation or operation of a middle school program in a school district.

  • Middle School At the request of the Superintendent, a middle school teacher may volunteer on a semester basis to teach all the student contact time and be paid one-sixth (1/6) of his/her salary for the semester. This section shall not be used to circumvent the hiring of additional full time teachers.

  • Statewide HUB Program Statewide Procurement Division Note: In order for State agencies and institutions of higher education (universities) to be credited for utilizing this business as a HUB, they must award payment under the Certificate/VID Number identified above.
