Common use of Project Implementation Manual Clause in Contracts

Project Implementation Manual. (a) The Recipient shall prepare and adopt a manual, in form and substance satisfactory to the Association, outlining, inter alia, financial management, procurement, disbursement arrangements, monitoring arrangements for the Project, guidelines for the eligibility, preparation and implementation of the Subprojects, including the financial management manual, procurement manual, community financial management and procurement handbook (“Project Implementation Manual”). (b) The Recipient shall carry out the Project in accordance with the Project Implementation Manual (provided, however, that in case of any conflict between the arrangements and procedures set out in the Project Implementation Manual and the provisions of this Agreement, the provisions of this Agreement shall prevail) and, except as the Association shall otherwise agree in writing, shall not amend, abrogate or waive any provision of the Project Implementation Manual.

Project Implementation Manual. Project Implementation Manual. (a) The Recipient shall prepare adopt and adopt thereafter maintain, throughout Project implementation, a manualProject implementation manual containing detailed guidelines and procedures for the implementation of the Project including with respect to, inter alia: administration and coordination, budget and budgetary control, disbursement procedures and banking arrangements, monitoring and evaluation, financial management, procurement and accounting procedures, internal control procedures, accounting system and transaction records, reporting requirements, audit arrangements, environmental and social aspects, corruption and fraud mitigation measures, eligibility, a grievance redress mechanism, roles and responsibilities for Project implementation, and such other arrangements and procedures as shall be required for the effective implementation of the Project, in form and substance satisfactory to the Association, outlining, inter alia, financial management, procurement, disbursement arrangements, monitoring arrangements for the Project, guidelines for the eligibility, preparation and implementation of the Subprojects, including the financial management manual, procurement manual, community financial management and procurement handbook Association (“Project Implementation Manual”). (a) The Recipient shall, update the Project implementation manual containing detailed guidelines and procedures for the implementation of the Project, including with respect to: administration and coordination, monitoring and evaluation, financial management, procurement and accounting procedures, environmental and social safeguards, corruption and fraud mitigation measures, a grievance redress mechanism, personal data collection and processing in accordance with good international practice, roles and responsibilities for Project implementation, and such other arrangements and procedures as shall prepare and adopt a manualbe required for the effective implementation of the Project, in form and substance satisfactory to the Association, outlining, inter alia, financial management, procurement, disbursement arrangements, monitoring arrangements for the Project, guidelines for the eligibility, preparation and implementation of the Subprojects, including the financial management manual, procurement manual, community financial management and procurement handbook Association (“Project Implementation Manual”). The Recipient shall: (a) The Recipient shall by no later than one (1) month after the Effective Date, prepare and adopt a manualProject implementation manual (“Project Implementation Manual”) containing detailed guidelines and procedures for the implementation of the Project, including with respect to: administration and coordination, monitoring and evaluation, financial management, procurement and accounting procedures, environmental and social safeguards, corruption and fraud mitigation measures, a grievance redress mechanism, personal data collection and processing in accordance with good international practice, roles and responsibilities for Project implementation, criteria for selecting hospital to be supported under the Project, and such other arrangements and procedures as shall be required for the effective implementation of the Project, in form and substance satisfactory to the Association, outlining, inter alia, financial management, procurement, disbursement arrangements, monitoring arrangements for the Project, guidelines for the eligibility, preparation and implementation of the Subprojects, including the financial management manual, procurement manual, community financial management and procurement handbook (“Project Implementation Manual”).; and (b) The Recipient except as the Association shall carry out the Project otherwise agree in accordance with writing; not amend or waive or permit to be amended or waived any provision of the Project Implementation Manual (provided, however, that in Manual. 2. (b) 2. The Recipient shall carry out the Project in accordance with the guidelines and procedures set out in the Project Implementation Manual (provided, however, that in case of any conflict between the arrangements and procedures set out in the Project Implementation Manual and the provisions of this Agreement, the provisions of this Agreement shall prevail) and, except as the Association World Bank shall otherwise agree in writing, shall not amend, abrogate or waive any provision of the Project Implementation Manual.

The Recipient Project Implementing Entity shall prepare and adopt adopt, by not later than one (1) month after the Effective Date, a manualProject Implementation Manual, in form and substance satisfactory to the Association, outliningwhich shall include detailed institutional, inter aliaadministrative, financial managementfinancial, procurement, disbursement arrangementstechnical, monitoring and operational arrangements and procedures for the implementation of the Project, guidelines including the selection criteria and procedures, as well as detailed implementation and fiduciary arrangements, for the eligibility, implementation of Sub-projects and the annual work plans and budgets preparation and implementation of the Subprojects, including the financial management manual, procurement manual, community financial management and procurement handbook (“Project Implementation Manual”). (b) The Recipient shall carry out the Project in accordance with the Project Implementation Manual review procedures (provided, however, that in case the event of any conflict between the arrangements and procedures set out in the Project Implementation Manual said manual and the provisions of this Agreement, the provisions of this Agreement latter shall prevail) and, except as the Association shall otherwise agree in writing, shall not amend, abrogate abrogate, or waive waive, or permit to be amended, abrogated, or suspended, any provision of the Project Implementation Manual.
