Promotion Examinations. Promotional examinations for the position of Sergeant and Lieutenant shall be administered by the Town as may be required to maintain a current eligibility list for each position. The Town shall post the job announcement for these positions for a two-week period following Labor Day. The announcement shall include a time frame for the written examination which shall be prior to the Thanksgiving Holiday and a time frame for the oral examination which shall be during the month of February.
