Promotion of Demoted Employee Who Did Not Retain Hourly Rate. A) An employee who does not retain his hourly rate on demotion and who subsequently promotes to a position at his former level shall be entitled to the promotion formula provided that the new hourly rate shall not exceed the hourly rate to which he would have progressed had he not demoted.
