PROMOTION TO SUPERVISORY POSITION. X. Xx Employee promoted or transferred from a job classification in the Bargaining Unit to a supervisory position shall retain the seniority Employee had at the time of such promotion or transfer and shall continue to accumulate seniority while Employee is in such a supervisory position for a period of eighteen (18) months.

PROMOTION TO SUPERVISORY POSITION. X. Xx Employee promoted or transferred from a job classification in the Patrolman and Detective Patrolman Bargaining Unit to a supervisory position shall retain the seniority Employee had at the time of such promotion or transfer and shall continue to accumulate seniority while Employee is in such a supervisory position for a period of not to exceed eighteen (18) monthsconsecutive months from date or promotion or transfer.
