Protected Activity. The Executive understands that nothing in this Agreement, including the language in this Section 9 or in Section 10(c) below, is intended to or shall limit, prevent, impede or interfere in any way with the Executive’s right, without prior notice to the Company, to provide information to the government, participate in investigations, testify in proceedings regarding the Company’s past or future conduct, engage in any activities protected under whistleblower statutes, or engage in any other legally protected activities under applicable law. The Executive understands that nothing herein is intended to preclude or dissuade the Executive from engaging in activities protected by applicable state and federal law.
