PROTECTION OF EMPLOYEES, STUDENTS AND PROPERTY. A. The Board of Education shall carry an insurance policy to provide Worker's Compensation for any teacher who is injured while in the performance of his/her duties. B. The Board of Education shall carry liability insurance to protect all teachers in court suits arising out of the performance of office or duties. C. The Board shall endeavor to protect the teachers, students and property from physical injury and shall endeavor to do everything within its power and means to do so to assure safe conditions in the school district. D. In the event of litigation, civil or criminal, the Board will extend to its professionals all of the protections afforded by the Statutes of the State of New Jersey.
