Purpose and Objectives. 1. The primary purpose of this procedure shall be to obtain at the lowest administration level and in the shortest period of time, equitable solutions to grievances that may arise from time to time. Both the Board of Education and the classified employee organization agree that grievance proceedings shall be handled in a confidential manner. 2. Nothing contained herein will be construed as limiting the right of any employee having a grievance to discuss the matter informally with any appropriate member of the administration, and to have the grievance adjusted without intervention by the organization, provided that the adjustment is not inconsistent with the terms of this agreement.
