Purpose of clause. (1) The procedure in this clause should be followed to prevent and settle grievances about the application of this Agreement. (2) Work should continue in the manner required by CES except in the case of issues relating to a genuine health and safety issue arising out of the application of this Agreement. The fact that work continues will not prejudice a technician or CES. (3) Throughout the grievance resolution process a technician may have an independent representative or support person of the technician’s choice accompany the technician in meetings and to otherwise assist the technician.

Purpose of clause. 2 of this Agreement 2.2.1 to establish the basis for dealing with any assets or liabilities that are not expressly dealt with by the Reorganisation Agreements, including liabilities arising from the conduct of the BP Group Businesses and the Innovene Group Businesses after the Completion Date. It is not the purpose of this Clause 2 to provide an alternative basis for dealing with matters that have already been dealt with by the Reorganisation Agreements or the Interface Agreements.
