Purpose of Committees. ● Committees advise the Council; they do not have the authority to act on behalf of the Council, unless a majority of the Council Members explicitly grant them such authority in the Committee’s charter or otherwise. ● Committees are a means for Council Members to contribute their expertise and make recommendations to the Council on decisions relating to the Hedera Network.

  • Purpose of the Committee In order to xxxxxx better relations between the parties, the purpose of the Committee shall be to discuss matters of mutual concern including matters pertaining to the improvement of quality health care and safe nursing practice.   • Sub-Committees 15.1 The Joint Committee shall establish the membership and terms of reference for any sub-committees or sub-groups which it establishes and may dissolve such sub-committees or sub-groups. Sub-committees to which the Joint Committee delegates functions are bound by the provisions of this Agreement regulating the taking of decisions by the Joint Committee. The Joint Committee may create additional sub-committees from time to time as it sees fit.

  • SCHOOL STAFF COMMITTEES 1. If the majority of the teaching staff in the school so decide, there shall be established a recognized staff committee in that school.

  • Meeting of Committee In the event of either party wishing to call a meeting of the Committee, the meeting shall be held at a time and place fixed by mutual agreement, however, such meeting to be held not later than 14 days after request has been received unless varied by mutual agreement.

  • Purpose of DPA The purpose of this DPA is to describe the duties and responsibilities to protect Student Data including compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local privacy laws, rules, and regulations, all as may be amended from time to time.
