Purpose and Scope of the Agreement The scope of this Agreement is to set out the rules, terms and principles according to which each Partner shall commit himself on the following points:
PURPOSE & SCOPE The purpose of this Policy is to help protect the Company’s network, each of the Company’s clients and third‐party users of the Internet, generally from harassing, deceptive, irresponsible and/or illegal activities. The scope of this policy is all the Company’s clients. Policy This Policy governs the usage of the Company’s network by any person (regardless of whether that person is a Customer). Each person utilizing the Company network in any manner is responsible for complying with this Policy, and for providing assistance to the Company in furtherance of the objectives hereof, as the Company may request from time to time. The Company’s Clients will be held solely responsible for the actions (or inactions) of any of their customers, downstream users, or third‐party agents that use the Company’s Network.
Purpose limitation The data importer shall process the personal data only for the specific purpose(s) of the transfer, as set out in Annex I.B, unless on further instructions from the data exporter.

PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF AGREEMENT 1.01 The purpose of this Agreement is to maintain harmonious and mutually beneficial relationships between the Employer, the Union and the employees and to set forth herein certain terms and conditions of employment upon which agreement has been reached through collective bargaining.
Purpose Statement Abuse of drugs and alcohol is a nationwide problem. It affects persons of every age, race, sex and ethnic group. It poses risks to the health and safety of employees of the City of Minneapolis and to the public. To reduce those risks, the City has adopted this LOA concerning drugs and alcohol in the workplace. This LOA establishes standards concerning drugs and alcohol which all employees must meet and it establishes a testing procedure to ensure that those standards are met. This drug and alcohol testing LOA is intended to conform to the provisions of the Minnesota Drug and Alcohol Testing in the Workplace Act (Minnesota Statutes §181.950 through 181.957), as well as the requirements of the federal Drug-Free Workplace Act of 1988 (Public Law 100-690, Title V, Subtitle D) and related federal regulations. Nothing in this LOA shall be construed as a limitation upon the Employer's obligation to comply with federal law and regulations regarding drug and alcohol testing. The Human Resources Director is directed to develop and maintain procedures for the implementation and ongoing maintenance of this LOA and to establish training on this LOA and applicable law.

AGREED AS FOLLOWS 1. In this Agreement, unless the context otherwise requires, words denoting the singular number only shall include the plural and vice versa. Save as otherwise indicated, references to "Clauses" and the "Schedule" are to be construed as references to clauses of, and the schedule to, this Agreement. Words importing the masculine gender, feminine gender or neuter shall include the others. All capitalised words and phrases used in the agreement shall bear the meanings ascribed to them as set out in the definitions of such capitalised words and phrases in the Schedule. The Purchaser shall have final authority to interpret this Agreement and to make any and all determinations under them, and its decision shall be binding and conclusive upon the Parties in respect of any questions arising under this Agreement. The Recitals set forth above are incorporated into and made part of this Agreement.
