Qualifying exigency leave for families of members of the National Guard and Reserves when the covered military member is on active dutyorcalled to active duty in support of a contingency operation. An employee whose spouse, son, daughter or parent either has been notified of an impending call or order to active military duty or who is already on active duty in the National Guard and Reserves in support of a contingency operation may take up to 12 weeks of leave for reasons related to or affected by the family member's call-up or service. The qualifying exigency must be one of the following: I) short-notice deployment, 2) military events and activities, 3) child care and school activities, 4) financial and legal arrangements, 5) counseling, 6) rest and recuperation,

  • Pension Contributions While on Short Term Disability Contributions for OMERS Plan Members When an employee/plan member is on short-term sick leave and receiving less than 100% of regular salary, the Board will continue to deduct and remit OMERS contributions based on 100% of the employee/plan member’s regular pay.

  • Supplemental Employment Benefit for Maternity and Parental Leave 8.5.1 Effective April 1, 2002, when on maternity or parental leave, an employee will receive a supplemental payment added to Employment Insurance benefits as follows:

  • Coverage for Members Who Are Hospitalized on Their Effective Date If you are in the hospital on your effective date of coverage, healthcare services related to such hospitalization are covered as long as: (a) you notify us of your hospitalization within forty-eight (48) hours of the effective date, or as soon as is reasonably possible; and (b) covered healthcare services are received in accordance with the terms, conditions, exclusions and limitations of this agreement.   • Leave of Absence for Employees Who Serve as Local Coordinators for the Ontario Nurses' Association An employee who serves as Local Coordinator for the Ontario Nurses' Association shall be granted leave of absence without pay up to a total of thirty-five (35) days annually. Leave of absence for Local Coordinators for the Ontario Nurses' Association will be separate from the Union leave provided in (a) above.

  • State Employee Group Insurance Program (SEGIP) During the life of this Agreement, the Employer agrees to offer a Group Insurance Program that includes health, dental, life, and disability coverages equivalent to existing coverages, subject to the provisions of this Article. All insurance eligible employees will be provided with a Summary Plan Description (SPD) called “Your Employee Benefits”. Such SPD shall be provided no less than biennially and prior to the beginning of the insurance year. New insurance eligible employees shall receive a SPD within thirty (30) days of their date of eligibility.

  • RETIREMENT PICK-UP 257. For the term of this Agreement, the CITY shall pick up the full amount of the employees’ contribution to retirement.

  • Group Registered Retirement Savings Plan 9.9.1 The College agrees to implement a group Registered Retirement Savings Plan for participation by employees. For regular employees who wish to participate in the Plan, the College agrees to contribute the total amount of the annual contribution by the fifteenth of the first month of the Benefit Year. The employee shall repay that contribution through payroll deduction in equal instalments throughout the Benefit Year.
