Quality Management System Audits. The Buyer declares his support for the continuous further development of the QMS of his Supplier on the basis of the IATF 16949 and the customer-specific requirements within the framework of the planned system audits. The aim is to achieve the IATF 16949 certificate by the Supplier. The information and specifications required for this purpose are passed on by the Buyer to the Supplier. System audits at the Supplier's premises are carried out by qualified auditors of the Buyer. Fulfilment of the MAQMSR requirements (Minimum Automotive Quality System Requirements for Sub-Tier Suppliers) is the first step towards the IATF 16949 certificate.
