RAIN. Use of natural grass fields may be prohibited after heavy or extended rain. All field closures are at the discretion of the Parks and Facilities Manager. If there is any uncertainty as to playability of fields, please contact the Parks and Recreation Department.

RAIN. In the event of inclement weather, the Course reserves the right to cancel play either before or during play. If the Course cancels play, the Course will issue rain checks or schedule a make-up date. The League also has the option to cancel play due to inclement weather or other “emergency” situations. If the League cancels play, please notify the pro-shop as soon as possible. Either rain checks will be issued, or the night’s play will be rescheduled. RULES:

Field evaluations will be determined by the Sports Park Field Crew and Recreation Supervisor. (Refer to Section C below) O’Fallon Family Sports Park is equipped with Lightning Detection Siren. RAIN. In the event of rain additional chemicals may be required (i.e. chlorine and salt in particular) After a spell of heavy rain the water in swimming pools needs to be treated with an increased amount of chlorine to ensure clarity.
RAIN. It rains a lot in Ireland. Sometimes it rains every day, but there are usually some blue skies and puffy clouds in intervals during a rainy day. We love the rain. We walk and travel in the rain and embrace the concept that “there is no such thing as bad weather … just inappropriate clothing.” So dress for the weather and bring waterproof shoes and an umbrella. If you hate rain, this is not the trip for you.
RAIN. Employees whose workplace is not affected by the inclement weather will continue working normally and will walk through the weather to and from site amenities.
RAIN. It is possible, though unlikely, that scheduled activities for a day may have to be cancelled due to weather (mostly boat rides). Alternate activities will replace cancelled ones. Safety to our guests is our most important consideration.
RAIN. The work under this section shall not be started or maintained under threat of rain unless the work is not affected by the rain.
