Common use of Re-Certification Clause in Contracts

Re-Certification. Re-certification is required every three years according to the Certification Policy. The Certification Authority will send a re-certification reminder to Certified Professionals between 120 days and 90 days before certification expires. The Certification Authority will process Certification Packages for re-certification in the same manner as for Certification, except that where the level of certification originally required physical attendance at a Peer Review Board this will not normally be required.

For Certified Professionals with sufficient valid Milestone Badges as defined in the Profession’s Configuration Document, except that where re-certification will take place automatically and the level of certification originally required physical attendance at a Peer Review Board this Certification Authority will not normally be requirednotify the Certified Professional accordingly.
