Common use of Recall Notification Clause in Contracts

Recall Notification. Notice of recall shall be sent to the employee, by certified mail with a copy to the O.L.C. The City shall be deemed to have fulfilled its obligations by mailing the recall notice by certified mail, return receipt requested, to the last address provided by the employee. If a bargaining unit member has bumped back from Unit A into Unit B, such member shall be reinstated to a vacancy in the member's prior rank before any laid off member is reinstated to a position in that rank.
