Common use of Receiving Work Telephone Calls at Home Clause in Contracts

Receiving Work Telephone Calls at Home. 30 Any employee who is called at home or a location other than their job site for 31 work related business during their off-duty time, and is not required to report to a work site, 32 shall receive one (1) hour pay at the appropriate rate according to the provision of Section IV 33 below. Multiple calls with less than twenty (20) minutes between the end of the first (1st) and 1 beginning of the second (2nd) (or more) calls will be considered one (1) call. This provision 2 does not apply to telephone calls regarding work scheduling, messages left on voicemail or 3 answering machines and/or worksite directions.
