If an employee is reclassified to a lower level and their current salary is higher than the maximum rate of the lower level, the employee’s salary shall remain unchanged until such a time as the maximum rate of the new pay level equals or surpasses the employee’s current salary. The employee will then be paid in accordance with Appendix “C”.
