Recognition of Employee Age. In the future, all of the Union Pension Plans will continue to recognize a participant’s age as specified in each Union Pension Plan for purposes of eligibility for commencement of a retirement benefit where age is a factor for such benefit under the various plans. For example, if a participant is age 59 and has 10 years of credited service on the Freeze Date, when the participant reaches age 60, the participant will be eligible to retire under a 60/10 early retirement provision, with a Supplemental Benefit (as hereinafter defined) payable prior to age 62 and one month.

  • Separation of Employment (a) If an employee is discharged by the Employer, he shall be paid in full for all monies owing to him by the Employer on the date of his discharge.

From and after the date of this Agreement and until the Sale Termination Date, Merchant shall not transfer or dismiss Retained Employees except “for cause” without Agent’s prior consent. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Agent shall not have the right to terminate the actual employment of any Retained Employee, but rather may only cease using such employee in the Sale and paying any Expenses with respect to such employee.

  • Continuation of Employment This Agreement shall not confer upon the Participant any right to continue employment with the Company or its Subsidiaries, nor shall this Agreement interfere in any way with the Company’s or its Subsidiaries’ right to terminate the Participant’s employment at any time. The Participant’s employment shall continue to be on an “at-will” basis.

  • Cessation of Employment In the event Executive shall cease to be employed by the Company for any reason, then Executive's compensation and benefits shall cease on the date of such event, except as otherwise provided herein or in any applicable employee benefit plan or program.
