RECOGNIZED HOLIDAYS AND VACATIONS. (a) All work performed on Saturday after eight (8) hours or on Sundays or on the following recognized holidays or any other new statutory holiday proclaimed by Federal or Provincial Governments shall be paid at double (2x) the employees regular hourly rate of wages: (b) The Employer agrees to hold Safety talks (tool box talks) on April 28th (Day of Mourning) of each year at 11:00 A. 10.04 The Employer agrees to no later the first pay ten percent (10%) day of gross wages earned to cover vacation January, April, July and recognized October. Vacation and holiday pay on the following basis: five percent (5%) of gross wages earned, covers recognized holidays listed in Article 10 of this Collective Agreement and five percent (5%) covers vacation pay. Where shall be paid by a Local Union Appendix indicates the Employer shall pay eight percent (8%) of gross wages earned to cover separate cheque covering only vacation and holiday pay, four percent (4%) of gross wages earned, covers recognized holidays listed in Article 10 of this Collective Agreement and four percent (4%) covers vacation pay.
10.05 Each member . Wages shall be entitled paid weekly or by cash of cheque on the job at the option of the Employer and shall be accompanied by a slip outlining all hours of work, the hourly rate, overtime hours, deductions for income tax, insurance, pension, etc., where applicable. In the event that wages are paid by cheque, pay day shall be not later than Thursday of the following week, It is further agreed that an employee'spay slip will show the number of hours worked in each week. Payment for correction of errors in wage exceeding one hundred dollars ($1 00.00) shall be made by separate cheque. In the case of lay-off, all employees will receive one (1) hour's notice in advance of the lay-off or pay in lieu of notice. Whenever unemployment insurance forms, vacation and statutory holiday pay credits and pay cheques are not given to book off employees at the time of termination, they shall be sent by the Ernployer affected to the employee by registered mail to his last known address within two (2) weeks holidays, without pay, per year. The timing working days of the holiday time of termination provided that if the Employer defaults, the employees shall be mutually agreed uponpaid waiting time at straight time rates not to exceed eight (8) hours any day for each regular working day he is required to wait giving notice to the Employer giving him four (4)hours to correct such default. The Employee must When an employee quits, he shall provide nothe Employer with three (3) days notice. On doing so, he shall be paid all his wages and given possession of all his documents upon termination where practical. On failure to provide three (3) days notice, he shall receive all his wages and documents on the next regular pay. Payment fortravel expenses and allowances will be clearly identified cheque slips and will be also identified as required for tax returns. and Employees are to be paid forjob orientation time and including specific training as required by the Owner.

If such holiday falls there is a day observed in lieu, double time shall be paid for work performed on that day and the General Holiday will be paid at the applicable rate ofpay as if it were not a Tuesday, Wednesday General Holiday. It is agreed that in the event any other day is declared a General Holiday by a Government [Federal or ThursdayProvince Alberta] which has jurisdiction to declare a General Holiday applicable to the work to which the registration certificate applies, then the Employer may with the consent of the Local Union reschedule the holiday to a Monday or Friday such change that day shall be implemented company widerecognized as a General Holiday in addition to those listed above.
(a) Employees engaged on commercial/institutional work shall receive 6% of their straight time hourly rate for all hours worked for vacation pay and 4% of their straight time hourly rate for all hours worked for recognized holiday pay. In such cases employees Income tax on these amounts shall be given one (1shown and deducted each pay cheque. {b) weeks notice Employees engaged on industrial work shall receive 6% of the changetheir applicable base rate for vacation pay and 4% of their applicable base rate for recognized holiday pay.
