Recruitment – Open. 19.2.1 Unless otherwise indicated at the time a recruitment is announced, recruitments are open to the general public. 19.2.2 At the conclusion of the filing period (or periodically for a continuous recruitment), an applicant who has failed to demonstrate that he/she possesses the minimum requirements for the position shall be removed from further consideration. Such lists may be restricted to the position for which the recruitment is conducted, or may apply to any vacancies within the City in the specified classification. 19.2.3.2 Eligibility lists shall remain in effect for a period of six (6) months or until depleted. Lists containing three (3) or fewer names may be considered depleted. 19.2.3.3 Eligibility lists may be extended by the Human Resources Director for a period not to exceed an additional six (6) months.
