Recurrence of Disability. If, after you have completed the thirty (30) week qualifying period, you recover and return to active full-time work, but within six (6) months the same disability recurs, LTD benefit payments will resume immediately. However, if you have returned to work for more than six (6) months, or if you are disabled from an unrelated cause, the disability will be considered a new disability and you will have to again complete the qualifying period.
