Red Circling on Reclassification. An employee whose position is reclassified to a position with a lower maximum rate of pay shall retain the rate of pay in effect at the time of reclassification until such time as the rate for the lower paid position equals or exceeds the rate of pay in effect at the time the position was reclassified.
