Common use of Reemployment After Resignation Clause in Contracts

Reemployment After Resignation. If an employee covered by this Agreement, except for a temporary employee, voluntarily terminates employment from a bargaining unit position and is subsequently re-employed by the district in this bargaining unit within eighteen (18) months from the date of termination, the employee shall be reinstated without loss of seniority and at the same pay level as of the date of termination. If re-employed at the same or lower classification, the employee will not be required to serve a new probationary period.
