Common use of Regular Hours Clause in Contracts

Regular Hours. a) The regular hours of work for all full-time employees shall average forty (40) (inclusive of meal times) in a weekly pay period. The intent of this clause is as far as possible to provide for a five (5) day work week with two (2) days in seven (7) off duty and, where possible, the days off to be consecutive. Regular daily hours of work consist of eight (8) hours.
