Departments will be asked during Fall 1999 to review and report on whether incumbents in 50% or greater positions fit the department's proposed hiring profile. Senior administration will review these reports by March 31, 2000 to determine whether positions should be posted and whether other arrangements should be made for incumbents. The decisions made from these reports will be reviewed by the Labour and Management Meeting (XXXX) prior to implementation, in order to assure consistent application of criteria regarding decisions to post positions, if such decisions are made.
