Common use of Reimbursement of Expenses upon Recall Clause in Contracts

Reimbursement of Expenses upon Recall. Where, during any period of approved vacation, an employee is recalled to duty, she shall be reimbursed for reasonable expenses, subject to the provisions of Article 28, that she incurs: (a) in proceeding to her place of duty; and (b) in returning to the place from which she was recalled if she immediately resumes vacation leave upon completing the assignment for which she was recalled. In addition to the above, an employee shall be compensated at two (2) times her regular rate of pay for time worked during the period of recall from vacation.
