Relief Employee. A relief employee shall be defined as an employee who works in a temporary vacant position to cover for an employee’s absence due to illness, injury, vacation, leave of absence, or to cover for short-term (less than six (6) weeks) extra work. There will be no more than three (3) relief employees within the Employer.
